IPC’S PRIME EXPANDS THE D.E.S RANGE OF DELIVERY OPTIONS The International Post Corporation’s (IPC) PRIME Registered Post is a crossborder tracked parcels service that has been specifically developed for the e-commerce market and it will now form part of the range of delivery options offered by Direct Entry Solutions’ (D.E.S.) own PacketPort e-commerce solution. PRIME Registered Post will now be offered alongside D.E.S’s existing PacketPort Express, Tracked and Registered delivery services available to online sellers for worldwide registered mail and parcel deliveries.
With this service customers will receive tracking information on their goods entering some of the world’s key e-commerce markets. PRIME Registered Post offers priority handling, customer receipt on posting, online track and trace, customer confirmation of delivery (including, if needed, a signature from the recipient). There is also the added security of all goods despatched being insured up to the replacement value stated on the receipt.
Speaking about D.E.S.’s PacketPort shipping platform, Phil Coleman, Chief Executive, emphasised the need to be flexible to what online sellers and the market needs. “We are increasing our PacketPort portfolio because we want to give our customers increased choice so that they can choose a product that does what they need but is at the right price for them.”
“It’s desirable to have a track and trace service on goods shipped crossborder, and particularly where goods are entering some of the world’s big e-commerce markets. But sometimes that information comes at a price that is not affordable for some customers. IPC’s PRIME Registered Post fills that gap by being value for money but without sacrificing quality and reliability.”
